Project Leader:
Project Synopsis: Project Status:
The initial goal of this project is to erect 10 artificial
nesting platforms for Ferruginous Hawks in the Pawnee National Grasslands.
It is also the goal of the project that all funding for the project be generated
or donated by the Caretakers program with matching funds from the National
Forest (Pawnee National Grasslands). This project is being done in
conjunction with the PNG in the hope of bolstering Ferruginous nesting
activities within the Grasslands.
We are looking for at least 8-12 volunteers to
help install platforms on July 22. Please let Josh know if you can help.
