Staring the evening of August 31 – September 3

The Colorado Trappers Association (CTA) has extended an invitation to all CHC members to their annual rendezvous in Fort Morgan. CTA is waiving the camp fee to all CHC members!  The rendezvous starts Friday evening and ends Monday morning.

Where we will be camped will be close to pheasant, quail, Cottontails, and jacks locations. So bring your falcons and hawks for the opening day of season.

This is a family event that children are encouraged to come. At night there will be different hunting stories to tell. There will be a lire’s contest, auctions, raffles and other prizes to be won. If you do not like to cook there is a chuck wagon to buy all your meals at. On Sunday night there is a BB-Q meal for under $10.   

Wolf Brueggemann and his son Trail went to last year’s event and they left with one of the most positives experiences wanting to return to this year’s event.

Please come and share your experiences with like minded people like ourselves. This is also a great way to find more hunting grounds for us too. You will definitely come out with more than you came in.

Take I – 76 to exit 79 Log Lane exit or HWY 144

Go West on Log Lane (HWY 144) to CR 16

Go North on CR 16 and look for signs for CTA or Colorado Trappers Association site.
